    Job Summary

    Novant Health is seeking an Interpreter/Cultural Ambassador to perform a variety of interpretation, translation, and customer service duties to help create a remarkable patient experience for non-English-speaking patients.

    Qualifications

    + Education: High School Diploma or GED, Required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree. BA or BS, Preferred.

    + Experience: One year, Preferred.

    + Licensure/Certification: NBCMI, Preferred.

    + Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation, competency testing and the ambassador onboarding program. Successfully complete departmental oral and written translation assessment. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed.

    + Additional Skills (preferred): Successful completion of medical terminology training within 1 year of hire. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations, facilities as needed.
