Summary:

As a Camera Electrical Engineer, you will be a member of our System EE Team for the next generation Smart Glasses; driving the camera electrical design and development, working on leading edge technologies, and collaborating with the cross-functional teams to deliver on our HW platforms. You will be part of a tight-knit group of highly talented engineers at the forefront of the innovation for Meta HW products (AR/VR, etc.).
Required Skills:
Camera Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Lead end-to-end development of camera module electrical subsystem, system design, HW-SW integration and validation from the concept phase to mass production.
2. Deliver on camera FPCs schematic, layout and testing.
3. Create camera electrical subsystem requirements, specifications and document test criteria for the module and system, review and approve vendor design proposals, document test methodology, component qualification criteria and support system validation and quality control process.
4. Drive internal cross-functional teams for camera module integration.
5. Perform subsystem bring up, testing, troubleshooting.
6. Work with the test team to establish characterization and measurement process.
7. Drive failure-mode analysis, root-cause diagnosis, and system-level problem solving across the various project phases.
8. Lead investigation of future camera technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:

9. BS degree, in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field or equivalent industry work experience.
10. 6+ years of relevant industry experience in Electrical Engineering.
11. Experience with RFPCs.
12. Experience with various high-speed serial camera electrical interfaces standards including I2C, SPI and Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) protocol design/testing/implementation.
13. Experience in camera electrical subsystem design, testing, and/ or system integration.
14. Experience with cross functional teamwork.
15. Effective communication skills.

16. PhD or MS degree plus 6+ years of relevant experience working in Electrical Engineering field or equivalent experience in relevant fields
17. Experience with camera technologies and camera module/IC design.
18. Experience with camera electrical test system development.
19. Experience with IMU Sensor technologies and their performance trade-offs.
20. Experience with EMI and ESD risks and mitigation techniques.
21. Experience with analog/mixed signal IC design, fabrication, and validation process.
22. Experience with automation, signal processing and data analysis tools such as Python, Matlab, JMP.
23. Experience in consumer electronics.
24. Experience working with JDM, ODM, CM partners.
Public Compensation:
$139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
