The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator/Developer (DBA) with interpersonal, communication skills, and a record of accomplishment performing database administration. Our program is rooted in Agile best practices and executing continuous process improvement in process and tools/technology to facilitate a data-driven organization, support future AI/ML strategy, and support the USMC TFSMS mission.

Responsibilities:

+ Administer and maintain system databases for development, test, staging and production environments.

+ Test and deploy database patches and CPUs as required.

+ Review and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities identified through Nessus scans or STIG checks.

+ Monitor and report on factors such as data access, cybersecurity posture, backups, data integrity, etc.

+ Collaborate with system engineers and administrators to develop and maintain system documentation.

+ Participate as an Agile Scrum Team member to achieve Sprint goals in support of the product/release roadmap.

Qualifications:

_Required:_

+ Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance is required.

+ BS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree and 7+ years’ experience performing data architect and transformation activities; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

+ Experience administering large, complex transactional and reporting databases in datacenter and cloud-based environments.

+ Experience in database patching, STIG/SRG, troubleshooting, and upgrading Oracle 18c and higher.

+ Experience designing and recommending new data warehouse architectures for cloud environments.

+ Possess high-level of proficiency in PL/SQL, and ETL/ELT processes.

+ Experience identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.

+ Experience working with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams to assist them with data-related technical issues.

+ Experience developing technical and design documentation.

+ Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. PL/SQL, Python).

+ Must meet DoD 8140 IAT Level II or IAM Level I.

_Desired:_

+ Possess an applicable, current Oracle certification.

+ Experience supporting reporting solutions such as Tableau, PowerBI or Cognos.

+ Familiar with Agile Scrum methodologies and execution.

+ Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300-$189,600
