Perini Management Services Inc. is seeking an in-person **Estimator I** at our Home office in **Framingham, Massachusetts.**

As an **Estimator I** at Perini Management Services, reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will have the opportunity to work on unique and exciting U.S. Federal Government construction projects.

Description:

+ Review project solicitation documents and perform quantity take-off

+ Solicit subcontractor/vendor quotations and distribute solicitation documents

+ Assist with and develop scope of work packages to define project work requirements

+ Assist with and evaluate subcontractor/vendor proposals to ensure accuracy in scope (Quantities, schedule, inclusions, exclusions, etc.)

+ Assist with and prepare subcontractor/vendor price analysis sheets

Skills:

+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment

+ Ability to read and understand construction documents

+ Strong interpersonal skills including phone calls to subcontractors and vendors

+ Ability to solicit and evaluate subcontractor and/or vendor proposals

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel and Word)

+ Working knowledge of take-off software, a plus

+ Strong organizational and analytical skills a plus

Experience:

+ Two (2) or more years of experience in the construction industry with estimating experience strongly desired

+ Experience with commercial or Government projects a plus

+ Experience with a construction material supplier and quantity take-off a plus
