Software Engineering Manager Responsibilities:

1. Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.

Minimum Qualifications:

19. Requires a Master’s degree(or foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Information Networking, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and 4 years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

21. 1. Software engineering work experience including hands-on technical management building infrastructure core components

22. 2. Coding in one of the following languages: C++, Java, Javascript, Python, or PHP

23. 3. Recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management

24. 4. Architecting, developing, and shipping software products and/or services

25. 5. Management experience with technical teams, or experience as a technical lead or project manager

26. 6. Building products including front end technologies or backend systems

27. 7. Unix or Linux

28. 8. Large-scale Internet service architectures (load balancing, LAMP, or CDN's)

29. 9. Designing and developing distributed systems, storage systems, or cache and data distribution infrastructure

30. 10. Scaling high performance, high throughput systems

31. 11. Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems in large-scale systems

32. 12. Coordinating large-scale, cross-functional efforts that span different teams

$255,986/year to $290,180/year + bonus + equity + benefits
