Software Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute software tests.
2. Develop, design, create, modify, and test software applications or systems for various products or software services.
3. Test system modifications.
4. Participate in product design.
5. Develop a strong understanding of relevant product area, codebase, and systems.
6. Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming, and software engineering.
7. Produce high-quality code with good test coverage using modern abstractions and frameworks.
8. Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
9. Document software and application defects.
10. Follow internal development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity.

11. Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
12. Requires completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving the following:

16. 4. Relational databases and SQL
17. 5. Implementing web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
18. 6. Conducting design and code reviews
19. 7. Object-oriented software development
20. 8. Building maintainable and testable codes bases including API design and unit testing techniques
21. 9. Multithreading programming and mobile memory management
22. 10. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems 11. (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)
23. 12. Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS as evidenced by file manipulation, advanced commands, and shell scripting
24. 13. Mobile architecture patterns that can scale to a large number of programmers and teams in one codebase
Public Compensation:
$172,210/year to $200,200/year + bonus + equity + benefits
