QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Homeland Security Clearance – TS or above preferred

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, RF Engineering, or a related field.

+ **5** + years of experience in radio communications systems design, with a strong focus on VHF systems.

+ Experience building out Motorola P25 hand held devices

+ Expertise in VHF radio systems architecture

+ Strong knowledge of analog and digital modulation schemes, waveform design, and channel coding.

+ Familiarity with SDR (Software Defined Radio) platforms and embedded systems.

+ Experience with simulation tools (MATLAB, Simulink, CST, HFSS) and RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, etc.).

+ Working knowledge of protocols and standards such as P25, TETRA, APCO, or custom military waveforms is an asset.

+ Willing to travel – 50%

PREFERRED SKILLS:

+ Experience with secure communications, encryption techniques, and COMSEC hardware.

+ Familiarity with SATCOM or UHF/HF systems.

+ Defense or aerospace industry background.
