    Production Supervisor - 2nd shift

    Duties/ Responsibilities:

    Production Supervisor, 2nd Shift: 2 p.m. – 12 a.m. Monday – Thursday

    Operations & Safety Leadership

    • Ensure daily operations are conducted safely and in compliance with company policies and the code of conduct.

    • Provide hands-on supervision across both the plant and Long Creek site, with flexibility to move between sites during shifts.

    • Monitor and enforce safety standards, proactively identifying and addressing risks.

    Production & Technical Oversight

    • Organize production based on priority needs and ensure efficient use of labor hours.

    • Maintain working knowledge of remanufacturing processes, engines, and transmissions.

    • Access and interpret technical resources (e.g., Bills of Materials, standards, IFS system).

    • Support quality control and simple quality decision-making.

    • Assist with dyno testing and warehouse operations (receiving, shipping, picking, 5S, etc.).

    People Management

    • Promote accountability, engagement, and performance within the team.

    • Identify and resolve interpersonal issues to reduce absenteeism and foster collaboration.

    • Set staffing levels to meet production goals while optimizing labor costs.

    • Select team leads and key positions (e.g., Starpoints) for the shift.

    • Handle SAP time reporting, ETO approvals, and attendance tracking.

    Training, Development & Communication

    • Translate management direction to actionable tasks for the floor.

    • Provide feedback from team members to management to make decisions.

    • Conduct performance discussions, merit review evaluations, and support team development.

    Continuous Improvement & Reporting

    • Participate in Kaizen activities, HERCAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Collaborate with other supervisors and leadership to approve and implement process improvements.

    • Create and deliver high-level reports and presentations using PowerPoint for leadership and audit purposes, VPS support

    • Provide accurate, data-driven updates supported by facts and KPIs.

    Maintenance

    • Oversee basic maintenance activities including AM/PM schedules, LO/TO procedures, and tool replacement.

    • Submit requests via maintenance databases as needed.

    Technical & Computer Proficiency

    • Utilize Excel, IFS, and other internal systems to support data analysis and reporting.

    • Demonstrate strong logic, math, and database management skills.

    Minimum Education, Skills & Experience:

    + 3+ years of production or manufacturing supervisory experience, preferably in remanufacturing or automotive.

    + Proven leadership and team development skills

    + Working knowledge of SAP, IFS, or similar systems

    + Ability to work flexible hours, including extended shifts and occasional weekends.

    + Strong communication and reporting skills
