    COMPUTER ENGINEER

    The company is seeking junior, mid-level, and senior Computer Engineers to provide SETA support in Hanover, MD.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes.

    + Provide guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams.

    + Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.

    + Monitor system operation to detect potential problems.

    + Communicate specific system requirements.

    + Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.

    + Direct the analysis, development, and operation of complete computer systems.

    + Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.

    + Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture.

    + Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components.

    + Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability. Investigate system component suitability for specified purposes and make recommendations regarding component use.

    + Perform ongoing hardware and software maintenance operations, including installing or upgrading hardware or software.

    + Configure servers to meet functional specificati ons.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor’s Degreen (Master’s degree for senior position) in engineering or computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Computer Programing

    + Minimum years of experience related to systems integration, verification, and testing on a Department of Defense (DoD) program, and devising test strategies, writing test plans, procedures and reports

    + Junior: 5 years of experience

    + Mid-level: 7 years of experience

    + Senior: 10 years of experience

    SECURITY CLEARANCE

    • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required

    TRAVEL

    • Some travel may be required.
