Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic National Sales Manager for our Electrical business. This role is crucial for driving sales of electrical products to wholesalers, educating the market, and executing our vision for growth. The Electrical business is the second largest at this company with high complexity and a wide range of products, offering significant growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Growth: Increase sales of electrical products through wholesale distribution channels by working closely with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and National Account Managers (NAMs).
Field Engagement: Actively engage in the field to educate customers, close sales conversions, and provide insights on market trends and pricing.
Product Knowledge: Demonstrate expertise in HVAC electrical products, including motors, transformers, control boards, and compressors.
Training: Conduct product training sessions for contractors, wholesalers, and sales teams, empowering them to sell more effectively.
Customer Interaction: Build strong relationships with diverse personalities, presenting products confidently and professionally.
Market Analysis: Gather and communicate market and competitor intelligence to inform product strategies.
Strategic Execution: Implement detailed product strategies and account plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
Collaboration: Work with the Electrical Product Line team, Marketing, and Sales Operations to develop and execute marketing plans and pricing strategies.
Leadership: Lead key customer initiatives and contribute to the strategic direction of the electrical product line.
Travel: National travel required, with a focus on planning and meeting sales trends in various territories.

Skills and Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in sales, preferably in the HVAC electrical products sector.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC electrical products, including motors, transformers, control boards, and compressors.
Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable speaking to large groups and diverse audiences.
Training Ability: Experience in conducting training sessions and educating teams on product knowledge.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills, able to interact effectively with various personalities.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, competitor intelligence, and sales data to inform strategies.
Strategic Thinking: Capable of developing and implementing detailed product strategies and account plans.
Travel: Willingness to travel nationally, with a focus on meeting sales trends and engaging with customers in various territories.
Adaptability: Ability to hit the ground running and adapt quickly to new challenges and opportunities. null
