Are you passionate about Video Games, App Design, Digital Movies, Robotics, or STEM? Do you love building up teachers to help them lead and inspire kids?

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as seasonal supervisors for Black Rocket technology programs. We strongly encourage those who have completed or are working towards their supervisor or principal certification to apply!

This is a year round position following after school and summer camp program hours (about 25-40 per week) following the prevailing local school district schedule. Black Rocket will TRAIN you! Regional Supervisors are enthusiastic, organized, and motivated individuals. They are confident in their ability to supervise instructors, as well as interact with students, parents, and program directors. All applicants must have experience with managing schedules or events, experience managing adults, and evidence of strong people skills. The ideal candidate will also have a background as a school supervisor, school administrator, teacher leader, or similar. Classroom experience and knowledge of effective instructional practices and strong problem-solving skills are a plus. A strong tech background is also a plus, but not required.

Requirements:

+ Comfortable traveling throughout the Fresno Unified School District, including multiple school sites in a day/ week

+ Experience managing adults, preferably in an education setting

+ Experience managing schedules or planning events

+ K-12 school experience ideal

+ Comfortable with a range of technology

+ Reliable transportation to multiple sites within your region throughout the day and ability to transfer up to 30 lbs of equipment

+ Strong problem solving skills

+ Knowledge of effective instructional practices

+ Comfortable giving feedback to and evaluating teachers

+ Able to commit to the whole school year

+ Available to start training immediately

+ Opportunities to supervise summer session staff available for a candidate who successfully completes the school year

Required Experience:

+ Comfortable traveling throughout the Fresno Unified School District throughout the day/ week

+ Able to be on site from 2pm-6pm daily for after school programs

+ Able to be on site from 8am-5pm for summer programs

+ Able to work between 25-40 hours per week

+ Available to take calls from staff throughout the week as needed and manage call outs

+ Experience managing adults, preferably in an education setting

+ Experience managing schedules or planning events

+ K-12 school experience ideal

+ Comfortable with a range of technology

+ Comfortable traveling to multiple sites within your region throughout the day

+ Strong problem solving skills

+ Knowledge of effective instructional practices

+ Comfortable giving feedback to and evaluating teachers

+ Available to commit to the whole school season (September - May) and summer season (June and July)

+ Available for one weekend face to face meeting

+ Ability to transport equipment on occasion ideal, but not required

+ Available to start training online at your own pace starting immediately

+ Rate: $25 - $35/hr depending on experience and availability
