About the Role:
As a CBRE Transition Manager you are responsible and accountable for leading multiple new account setup projects simultaneously for major corporate real estate clients using a structured, disciplined program management approach.
What You’ll Do:
+ Ensures effective and smooth integration of new Portfolio Services (PS) Lease Administration accounts, by defining business requirements and managing service implementation for assignments at either client sites or in one of our Global Operating Centers; or remotely.
+ Supports PS transition program improvement, various quality initiatives and consulting services.
+ Partners with other transition team members globally, external partners, and internal and external clients to implement an onboarding process ensuring that people, systems, and processes are seamlessly integrated into the global PS business structure
+ Plans, prioritizes, organizes and manages all transition and integration activity to meet specific timelines (generally 90-120 days in length) with the business objective of effectively managing and monitoring project scope, timeline and budget
+ Identifies integration and operational issues pre onboarding, and partners with the business to develop standardized solutions for success.
+ Responsible for:
+ Established methods (trackers, project plans, risk and budget trackers) to accomplish stated objectives and timeline.
+ Standardized methodology for onboarding new clients during in Transition.
+ Process reviews with clients to compare against CBRE standards, for discussion with PS business, for inclusion as required in Playbook documentation created during transition.
+ Partner with a designated shared service center counterpart to coordinate and ensure assigned tasks with co-workers within the business line and/or project team are completed as required
+ Monitors quality control (QC) activities on projects to ensure abstraction partners activities and deliverables and internal CBRE QC teams are staying inline with project objectives
+ Request and review data provided by client; handle / coordinate rent scrub activities as required dependent upon scope of transition
+ Manages real estate lease database migrations for incoming and existing accounts; including leading / facilitating / supporting teams to facilitate data mapping, Quality Control review, and documentation of mapping activity for inclusion in playbooks
+ Facilitates discussion between client technology team and 3rd party partner to define requirements for rent interface files; testing and implementation of same
+ Provide project reporting to Client, Transition management, global leadership as required or requested
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
+ Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university or equivalent in experience
+ A minimum of five years of related experience and/or training in lease administration operations, or project management.
+ Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex real estate lease documents.
+ Ability to update/revise process manuals for each integration utilizing globally consistent methodology.
+ Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations to clients and internal team members. Ability to effectively lead conference calls with multiple participants often located in time zones that cross multiple global regions.
+ Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with team members and client groups to take desired action.
+ Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
+ Ability to reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports.
+ Ability to analyze highly complex real estate portfolio data and develop innovative solutions.
+ Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
+ Requires advanced level analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to analyze highly complex business/real estate portfolio and develop innovative solutions.
+ Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong working knowledge of process analysis, standardization, improvement and redesign and lease administration process.
+ Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results.
+ Responsible for setting and achieving project deadlines; management and adherence to a transition budget
+ Requires keen focus on accuracy, completeness, quality assurance processes and rigorous attention to detail.
+ Ability to successfully manage multiple transition projects at the same time.
+ Ability to set priorities, work efficiently and manage time with limited supervision or direction.
