A suitable candidate for this role has:
+ Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex technology initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
+ Deep understanding of the credit card business, including origination processes, payment technologies, and industry best practices.
+ Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based architectures and APIs.
+ Strong technical acumen with a solid understanding of modern software development methodologies, cloud technologies, and data management principles.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
In this role, you will:
+ Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team responsible for developing and supporting the Credit Card Product Platform.
+ Oversee the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable microservices and APIs that drive critical functionalities within the Credit Card Origination process.
+ Define and execute the technology roadmap for the platform, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term business objectives, customer needs, data strategy, enterprise priorities, and industry trends.
+ Champion innovation and identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to enhance the platform's capabilities and deliver market-leading solutions.
+ Collaborate closely with product management, business stakeholders, and other technology teams to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure seamless integration across the credit card ecosystem.
+ Drive continuous improvement in platform performance, reliability, and security.
+ Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence within the team.
+ Ensure the craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers.
+ Engage in mentoring and guiding the professional and technical development of more experienced engineers.
+ Make decisions and resolve issues regarding strategic products of engineering teams to meet business objectives.
+ Interpret and develop security, stability, and scalability within key areas of technology risk.
+ Collaborate and consult with agile teams and product managers to drive outcomes.
+ Interact directly with third party vendors and technology service providers.
+ Manage allocation of people and financial resources for technology engineering.
+ Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
Required Qualifications:
+ 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 2+ years of Leadership experience
+ 4+ years of Java experience and/or .Net experience or a combination of both
+ 3+ years of microservices design and development experience
+ 3 + years of cloud computing experience to include PCF, Azure or AWS
+ 2+ years of Agile experience
Desired Qualifications:
+ Proven experience in delivering Mainframe to Distributed Modernization efforts.
+ 3+ year of MicroStrategy experience
+ 2+ years of MongoDB experience
+ 2+ years of Kafka experience
+ Experience with FDR and related Credit Card data and processes

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
111,100.00 - 197,500.00 USD Annual
