About the Role:
As a CBRE D&T Product Lead, you will oversee the department that develops products based on user needs, business objectives, and advanced technical feasibility.
This job is part of the Product Management job function. They are responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of products and product extensions during all life cycle stages.
What You’ll Do:
+ Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
+ Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
+ Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
+ Execute operational strategies, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
+ Act as a key business partner to put in place initiatives and start process improvements.
+ Partner with national and global senior management to develop and implement strategies that optimize operational performance and support the business.
+ Direct the business operations activities nationally. Develop partnerships with internal department management.
+ Apply deep knowledge of multiple disciplines, broad industry knowledge, and commercial awareness.
+ Drive financial and functional performance within disciplines and across business.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Negotiate with senior management, customers, and external parties of divergent interests to reach an agreement of strategic importance while being guided by the business segment and the organization's functional strategy.
+ Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions.
+ Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced critical thinking.
What You’ll Need:
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
+ Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
+ Integrations: Experience in handling and coordinating integrations between various systems and platforms, ensuring flawless data flow and functionality across applications.
+ AI and Machine Learning: Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, enabling the development of intelligent features and improvements that leverage data-driven insights.
+ Data Analysis and Visualization: Proficient in using data analysis tools, including Palantir Foundry, to extract insights and build visualizations that advise product strategy and decision-making.
+ Understanding of Accounting Systems: Familiarity with accounting systems and financial data management, allowing for the development of products that meet financial compliance and reporting needs.
+ Understanding of APIs: Knowledge of RESTful APIs and their integration, facilitating communication between different software systems and improving product capabilities.
+ Basic SQL Knowledge: Basic SQL queries for data extraction and analysis, supporting data-driven product decisions on is accurate.
