    Our mission is to revolutionize how selling partners interact with their business data. We're building sophisticated ML models that not only analyze performance across various business domains but proactively identify opportunities and automatically generate actionable recommendations. By leveraging GenAI technology, we're reducing the cognitive load on our partners - transforming complex analytics into clear, contextual insights and specific actions they can take to grow their business. Our ML models continuously learn from diverse data sources to detect patterns, predict trends, and suggest optimal business decisions, while our GenAI systems make these insights immediately accessible and actionable.

     

    As a Software Development Manager for this team, you'll lead our AI transformation journey, driving the technical strategy for our next generation of ML-powered analytics products. You'll guide a team of ML engineers and data scientists in developing sophisticated models that power automated insights and recommendations. If you're passionate about applying advanced ML techniques and GenAI technologies to solve real business problems, this role is for you! You'll collaborate with senior engineering and product leaders to shape our AI-first analytics vision, while having end-to-end ownership of products that automatically guide hundreds of thousands of selling partners to optimal business decisions. Your team will be at the forefront of combining traditional ML with emerging GenAI capabilities to create truly intelligent, self-optimizing business tools.

    Key job responsibilities

    * Own team vision and growth, including hiring, mentoring, and career development of direct reports while fostering a strong engineering culture.

    * Lead product delivery, managing complex projects with significant business impact and building strategic relationships with product, tech and science partners.

    * Drive engineering and operational excellence through effective project management, prioritization, and implementation of efficiency-driving mechanisms.

    * Balance technical leadership with business acumen to make strategic decisions about technology choices and architectural improvements.

    About the team

    Selling Partner Growth is the growth and development engine for Amazon Selling Partners (SPs) World Wide. Leveraging science partnerships across Amazon, we catalyze SP growth with comprehensive and accurate data, unique insights, and actionable recommendations and collaborate with WW SP facing teams to drive adoption and create feedback loops. We believe that any motivated SP should be able to grow their businesses and reach their full potential by using our scaled, automated, and self-service tools.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 3+ years of engineering team management experience

     

    - 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience

     

    - 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

     

    - 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience

     

    - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations

     

    - Experience partnering with product or program management teams

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy

     

    - Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
