Hunton Group is seeking a hands-on Marketing & Administrative Intern at our Corporate office located at Westpark 77042. The ideal candidate will support cross-functional marketing efforts and contribute to behind-the-scenes initiatives that drive both corporate and commercial success.
This paid part-time internship is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about the inner workings of a busy corporate marketing team. You'll gain exposure to event planning, social media strategy, internal communications, branding, and more from the headquarters of a leading HVAC industry player.
What You'll Do:
You'll assist the marketing team with both creative and operational tasks, including:
Marketing & Communications:
+ Assist in maintaining and updating the Project Highlights section of the Hunton intranet using internal news and social media content.
+ Support social media content planning, scheduling, and reporting.
+ Create flyers, blog posts, internal announcements, and other marketing materials.
+ Help update website content, imagery, and SEO across all corporate websites.
+ Gather data and insights for digital campaigns and track marketing performance metrics.
Brand & Event Support:
+ Organize inventory, marketing storage areas, trade show materials, employee gifts, and branded swag.
+ Inspect and coordinate repairs for banners and promotional displays.
+ Assist in preparing the corporate office and conference rooms for marketing events and internal presentations.
+ Take the lead in securing a headshot photographer.
+ Organizing employee photo files accordingly.
Administrative Coordination:
+ Order business cards and create employee ID badges.
+ Support internal engagement programs like Hunton Cares and employee recognition efforts.
+ Maintain organized archives of marketing tools, images, and collateral.
+ Help improve the layout, aesthetics, and resource management of the corporate office space.
Special Projects:
+ Take ownership of internal marketing tasks and impromptu projects as they arise.
+ Collaborate with other departments while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Are You:
+ A current student or recent graduate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
+ A strong communicator with excellent organizational skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with social media platforms, Canva, or basic graphic design tools is a plus.
+ Comfortably working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
+ Energized by learning opportunities and happy to pitch in wherever needed.
Bonus Points For:
+ 1–2 years of work or internship experience in marketing or admin support roles.
+ Experience writing content, creating graphics, or supporting digital campaigns.
+ Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
