Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a Contract-to-continuing basis in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key aspects of accounts payable, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position offers the opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and record invoices with accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Match invoices to purchase orders and update batching details to facilitate payment approvals.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and adjust purchase orders as needed.

• Support general ledger maintenance by accurately coding invoices and financial transactions.

• Coordinate and execute regular check runs while maintaining up-to-date vendor records.

• Ensure all accounts payable activities comply with internal controls and prepare documentation for audits or management review.

• Utilize Sage 100 software for accounts payable tasks, with training provided if necessary.

• Maintain organized records and provide timely updates to ensure smooth financial operations. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

• Proficiency in invoice processing, data entry, and account reconciliation.

• Familiarity with check runs and coding invoices.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software tools.

• Ability to learn and use Sage 100 software effectively.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Commitment to maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
