Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee financial operations and reporting for our organization in Hood River, Oregon. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a solid background in accounting principles and managerial responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and collaborating with auditors.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review accurate financial statements and profitability reports.
• Manage all core accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end closings.
• Conduct inventory roll forwards and margin analysis to support operational and financial decisions.
• Oversee fixed asset management and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors for annual financial and 401K audits.
• Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to maintain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and development.
• Monitor billing functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or controller-level accounting role.
• Proven ability to prepare financial statements and profitability reports with precision.
• Strong expertise in general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.
• Familiarity with fixed asset management and margin analysis.
• Experience working with auditors on financial and 401K audits.
• Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
