Salary: $23.86 - $30.84/hourly *Hourly rate is inclusive of a $1.00/hr. salary stipend and a $1.00/hr. direct care stipend. Applicants with Certified Nursing Assistant (“CNA”) certificates, and who are on the State’s CNA registry, will be paid an additional $.50/hour.
+ Additional weekend differential $.60/hour while working weekend hours

Job duties:
This is paraprofessional support work in training, providing direct care, and implementing the recovery model for the mentally ill patients. Work includes attending dry rounds and community meetings. Supervision of Riverview Psychiatric Center's patients in job-skills development and job coaching. Collects, organizes, and analyses information about patients in order to appraise interest, aptitude, and abilities for Vocational planning. Develop short and long term employment goals within Riverview [E.I.P.] as well as Community Voc-Rehab centers and community based employment. Documentation of goal-orientated progression in a weekly note format. Work collaboratively with management/staff of work sites and areas to assure work safety, proper training of mechanical equipment, and conduct research and development of community-based employment opportunities. Collect data from patients' time sheets from payroll management register for proper check processing.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of direct care mental health experience. Candidates must have completed the department approved Vocational Training Program. Preference will be given to candidates who have high-level computer skills.
Licensing Requirements:
Employment Specialist certification that meets Maine State Certification requirements.
