Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Aid Analyst/Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Boynton Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key financial aid processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires availability five days a week, including Saturdays, with Sundays and one additional day off.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the collection and billing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.

• Provide expert customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to financial aid.

• Utilize automated underwriting systems and CRM tools to streamline workflows and maintain accurate records.

• Conduct financial counseling sessions to assist individuals in understanding their aid options and obligations.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations governing financial aid.

• Manage the disbursement of funds while maintaining accurate financial documentation.

• Monitor collection operations and implement strategies to optimize efficiency.

• Prepare and analyze reports using Microsoft Excel to support decision-making and process improvements.

• Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall financial aid experience for clients. Requirements • Proficiency in using automated underwriting systems and CRM platforms.

• Strong understanding of financial aid regulations and compliance requirements.

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive financial matters.

• Experience in billing, collections, and financial counseling operations.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
