Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure and application deployment pipelines. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations, fostering a culture of continuous delivery, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.

Responsibilities:

+ Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, or a hybrid environment).

+ CI/CD Pipeline Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, CircleCI, or similar.

+ Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar.

+ Monitoring & Logging: Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog) to proactively identify and resolve issues.

+ Containerization & Orchestration: Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.

+ Scripting: Write and maintain scripts for automation and system administration tasks using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

+ Security: Implement and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure and application lifecycle, including vulnerability management and access control.

+ Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and promote a DevOps culture.

+ Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues in production and non-production environments.

+ Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

+ 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.

+ Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP). Certifications are a plus.

+ Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline development and management.

+ Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

+ Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

+ Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

+ Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

+ Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.

+ Experience with version control systems (Git).

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Familiarity with microservices architecture.

+ Experience with database administration (relational and/or NoSQL).

+ Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing).

+ Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator).
