Job Title: Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's team in the greater Hartford area. In this role, you will provide essential support to the accounting department and work closely with the Controller. Main Responsibilities:

+ Prepare daily accounting entries and ensure proper posting of transactions.

+ Generate month-end reports such as financial audits, expense analyses, and reconciliations.

+ Maintain and reconcile general ledger balances, including receivables and inventory schedules.

+ Process and reconcile incentives and monthly finance reserves.

+ Assist with preparing contracts for submission to financial institutions.

+ Submit electronic remittances for transactions.

Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related roles.

+ Proficiency in bookkeeping and familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
