Description

We are looking for a skilled Helpdesk Analyst to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will provide hands-on and remote support to end users in a dynamic environment, ensuring seamless hardware, software, and system operations. This is a long-term contract position with opportunities to expand your expertise in IT while delivering high-quality technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Document and categorize all service requests and incidents in the IT service desk tool, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

• Offer remote support to users via IT service desk tools and collaboration platforms such as Skype for Business.

• Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory and Office 365.

• Provide on-site assistance to staff, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.

• Utilize internal and external resources, including manuals, knowledge bases, and vendor support, to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.

• Maintain and update hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal performance.

• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and user satisfaction.

• Assist with setup and configuration of new devices and technologies for staff.

• Monitor and prioritize service tickets to meet response time objectives.

Requirements • At least 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar IT role.

• Proficiency in Active Directory and Office 365 administration.

• Familiarity with IT service desk ticketing systems and remote support tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with end users and team members.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of hardware and software maintenance practices.

• Experience with Skype for Business or similar collaboration tools is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
