Description

We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Bedminster, New Jersey. In this role, you will manage critical accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management, while also contributing to financial forecasting and reporting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in accounting systems and processes within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.

• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records.

• Manage the general ledger, including preparing and posting journal entries.

• Oversee inventory management and assist in maintaining accurate stock records.

• Contribute to month-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is reconciled and reported.

• Collaborate on financial forecasting and budgeting activities to support company goals.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making across departments.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Work with Microsoft Excel to develop detailed financial spreadsheets and analyses.

The salary range for this position is 65,000 - 75,000. Benefits include medical, dental and 401k.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general ledger management.

• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and conducting month-end close activities.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
