Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in St. Cloud, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the organization's overall financial health. This is an on-site position,

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other necessary documentation.

• Conduct thorough account and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Analyze revenue and expenses to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including adherence to GAAP and other applicable guidelines.

• Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, offering strategic input to optimize financial planning.

• Handle full-cycle payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for employees.

• Record and post journal entries while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely reporting.

• Utilize accounting software, such as Deltek or Deltek ComputerEase, to streamline financial operations.

Requirements • A minimum of 1 year of accounting experience with a focus on detail and accuracy.

• Strong skills in account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation.

• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and maintaining the general ledger.

• Familiarity with GAAP and US GAAP accounting standards.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.

• Experience with full-cycle payroll and full-cycle accounting processes.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial tasks.
