Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves providing vital support to our Legal Department, with a focus on managing litigation processes, corporate transactions, and maintaining accurate legal records. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal and external legal teams to ensure efficiency, compliance, and precision in all legal activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of the litigation process, from initiation to resolution, ensuring timely and accurate handling of cases.

• Develop and maintain systems to track legal matters, including court dates, deadlines, and compliance with document retention policies.

• Respond to information requests from insurers and oversee the preparation and tracking of legal hold notices.

• Coordinate with internal and external counsel to identify and secure documents and witnesses for subpoenas and discovery requests, preparing responses for attorney review.

• Conduct research on various legal topics, including opposing counsel and judges, and provide recommendations based on findings.

• Maintain and update standard legal forms, templates, meeting minutes, and corporate resolutions for a portfolio of companies.

• Draft and review responses to regulatory, due diligence, and "Know Your Customer" requests in coordination with external entities.

• Support transaction closings by managing document signatures and ensuring delivery to all involved parties.

• Oversee document management systems to ensure proper retention and easy retrieval of business contracts.

• Review, track, and manage invoices from external legal counsel and other vendors to ensure alignment with budgets. Requirements • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field; Paralegal Certificate is preferred.

• A minimum of 8-10 years of paralegal experience, with a preference for in-house legal support roles.

• Familiarity with a wide range of legal areas, including litigation, employment law, corporate transactions, and commercial real estate.

• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently.

• Proficiency in case management tools, e-discovery platforms, and document management systems.

• Experience interacting with business stakeholders, including senior executives, on legal matters.

• Ability to adapt to various legal practice areas based on departmental needs.

• Knowledge of confidentiality standards and ethical best practices in legal settings.
