Description

We are looking for an experienced Billing Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a Contract to Hire position where you will play a key role in overseeing billing operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial workflows. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage billing operations and oversee financial workflows to ensure compliance with established policies.

• Conduct audits of systems and processes to verify accurate invoicing and transmission procedures.

• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address and resolve billing inquiries efficiently.

• Assist with month-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries, billing packages, accounts receivable analyses, and revenue metrics.

• Prepare detailed ad-hoc financial analyses as needed to support decision-making.

• Ensure billing processes align with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain and update billing-related documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

• Travel up to 10% domestically, with potential for international trips based on business needs.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.

• Proven ability to adapt to a high-growth environment and rapidly changing organizational needs.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general business software.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with accounting software systems, CRM platforms, and auditing practices.

• Experience with accounts receivable (AR), billing functions, and B2B collections.

• Availability to travel up to 10%, primarily domestically but potentially internationally.

• Ability to perform all essential job functions effectively with attention to detail.
