Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In this role, you will manage essential financial tasks and ensure the accuracy of accounting processes. You will contribute to the smooth operation of accounts payable, receivable, and other key financial activities.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.

• Reconcile account discrepancies and ensure financial records are up-to-date.

• Handle invoice processing and verify billing information for accuracy.

• Perform data entry tasks to maintain organized and precise financial documentation.

• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve accounting issues and streamline processes.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets and analyze financial data.

• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.

• Support month-end closing activities and ensure deadlines are met. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Familiarity with invoice processing and billing procedures.

• Solid data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in accounting are a plus.
