Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the team in Neenah, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial processes and ensuring accurate reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment through analytical and organizational expertise.

Responsibilities:

+ Perform daily cash reconciliations and manage treasury-related tasks, such as assisting with cash flow forecasting.

+ Track and reconcile key inventory items, prepare regulatory reports, ensure invoice accuracy, and address discrepancies.

+ Oversee month-end reconciliations.

+ Support cost allocation processes, while analyzing cost variances for operational insights.

+ Handle fixed asset reporting to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with established guidelines.

+ Provide backup support for accounts payable and customer invoicing functions.

+ Assist in preparation for audits by compiling necessary reports and ensuring documentation aligns with compliance standards.

Requirements • Proficiency in bank reconciliations and treasury-related tasks.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.

• Experience in month-end close processes and inventory reconciliations.

• Familiarity with cost accounting principles and variance analysis.

• Ability to perform accurate account reconciliations.

• Solid understanding of financial reporting and audit preparation.

• Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
