Description
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Finance to oversee and analyze significant expense categories across various departments, including facilities, marketing, legal, IT, and benefits. This position offers the opportunity to engage with executive leadership while contributing to critical financial processes and reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and manage large sets of financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.
• Collaborate with department heads to monitor and report on $500M+ in expenses across multiple functions.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for executive leadership.
• Perform data analysis using tools such as Tableau, SmartView, or similar platforms to generate actionable insights.
• Provide support for ad hoc financial projects and analyses as requested by the leadership team.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies during all financial processes.
Requirements • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably working with large companies and complex data sets.
• Proficiency in financial tools and software such as Tableau, SmartView, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of delivering accurate financial insights.
• Excellent communication abilities, including presenting data effectively to executive teams.
• Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as financial reporting standards.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with dual financial system management and transitions is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
