As a **Security Professional - Retail Site Patrols - Afternoon Shift** in **Mebane, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail or mall environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every situation.

Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.

+ Support emergency response activities and follow established protocols during incidents.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activity within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
