Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining accurate financial records related to accounts receivable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for ensuring financial accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Process and monitor billing activities to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

• Apply and reconcile incoming payments to customer accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

• Manage cash applications, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.

• Conduct account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Handle commercial collections, collaborating with customers to resolve outstanding balances.

• Assist in preparing reports and financial statements related to accounts receivable.

• Utilize financial software such as Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks to manage data efficiently.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to address billing or payment issues.

• Support month-end closing activities by providing necessary documentation and reports.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounts receivable processes and implement solutions. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, and cash applications.

• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and commercial collections practices.

• Proficiency in using financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and analyze spreadsheets.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for client and team interactions.

• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.

• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting.
