Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a PC Technician in Washington, District of Columbia, United States. This role primarily focuses on managing and operating global conferencing services, video conferencing gateway technologies, and other related duties. As a PC Technician, you will be coordinating with IT solution leadership, design architects, and other cross-functional groups for audio-visual design projects.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and operate global conferencing services with leading industry AV solutions such as Polycom and Neat devices
• Handle configuration and management of video conferencing gateway technologies
• Participate in audio-visual design projects in coordination with IT solution leadership, design architects, and other cross-functional groups
• Gain expertise on intuitive conferencing appliances like Crestron and Cisco
• Manage integrated conferencing and collaboration solutions and platforms like Teams, Zoom, Webex
• Ensure all meeting setups are done half an hour to an hour ahead of time and be readily available on-site during meetings
• Assist users in connecting to Wi-Fi and projecting using portable equipment like laptops
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of computer hardware, Dell technologies, Linux technologies, Mac computers, and Apple devices
• Conduct A/B testing and manage active directory and backup technologies
• Handle the setup and cleanup of conference rooms and manage video conferencing and web conferencing systems
• Operate video cameras and other related equipment Requirements • Proficiency in Computer Hardware
• Knowledge of Dell Technologies
• Familiarity with Linux Technologies
• Experience with Mac Computers
• Understanding of AB Testing procedures
• Capability to handle Active Directory
• Proficiency in managing Apple Devices
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies
• Skills in Audio Visual technologies
• Familiarity with Polycom systems
• Experience with Polycom Video Conferencing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams
• Experience with Zoom and WebEx platforms
• Understanding of Wi-Fi networks
• Knowledge in Cisco Video and Cisco Voice technologies
• Familiarity with Cisco WebEx platform
• Skills in Audio Conferencing
• Experience in Conference Room Setup & Cleanup
• Understanding of Conference Rooms operations
• Proficiency in Video Conferencing
• Familiarity with Web Conferencing
