Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role involves managing cash applications, reconciling accounts, and addressing customer inquiries related to invoices. Based in Irving, Texas, this position offers a hybrid schedule, with in-office work on Tuesdays and remote flexibility on other days.

Responsibilities:

• Process and apply cash payments accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.

• Reconcile accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded and discrepancies are resolved.

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, providing clear and detail-oriented communication.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and ensure smooth financial operations.

• Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable activities using accounting software.

• Utilize ERP and CRM systems to manage customer accounts and financial data.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all accounts receivable tasks.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in cash applications and reconciliations.

• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and cash activities for management review. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems such as ERP, CRM, or Epic Software.

• Strong understanding of cash applications, reconciliations, and billing processes.

• Familiarity with cash handling and financial reporting procedures.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills for handling customer inquiries professionally.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in accounts receivable management.
