    + Supervising accounting departments

    + Preparing reports for company leads

    + Developing standards and processes for proper financial management

    + Overseeing the recording, tracking, and reporting of financial information

    + Hiring, training, and motivating accounting staff members

    Requirements

    Educational Requirements

    + Bachelor’s Degree (strongly preferred)

    + In Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    + Master’s Degree (preferred, but not required)

    + MBA or Master’s in Accounting

     

    Professional Certifications (strongly preferred)

     

    + CPA (Certified Public Accountant)

    Experience Requirements

    + 3–7 years of accounting or finance experience.

    + Typically requires experience in roles like:

    + Senior Accountant

    + Financial Analyst

    + Auditor

    + Leadership or supervisory experience is usually expected.

    Technical:

    + Financial reporting (GAAP, IFRS, etc.)

    + Budgeting and forecasting

    + Internal controls

    + Tax and regulatory compliance

    + ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite)

    Managerial:

    + Team leadership & staff development

    + Process improvement

    + Strategic thinking

    + Cross-functional collaboration

    Soft Skills:

    + Attention to detail

    + Analytical mindset

    + Communication (verbal and written)

    + Time management and multitasking
