Summary:#Under the general direction of the Director of Information Technology, the System Administrator#s role is to support in-house computer software systems, servers, storage devices, switching and network connections to ensure high availability and security of the supported business applications.# Duties:# # Serves as a liaison with external vendors, outsources, and contractors to secure software products and services and troubleshoot issues that affect business performance. # # Responsible for server builds; switch configurations and deployments; firewall configurations/troubleshooting; Active Directory edits/configurations; phone connectivity, troubleshooting, planning and deployment; network diagramming and documentation; and back up monitoring and restorations. # Deploys workstations, servers, printers, scanners, firewalls, encryption systems, and appliances security systems that utilize industry best practices to meet corporate objectives.# # Serves as 2nd tier support for technical issues with network, firewall and applications. Supports end user requests to resolution via ticketing system. # # Performs other work as required to support the IT Department and Granville Health System. Requirements:#Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field. At least 2 years in an IT administrator or systems analyst role with increasing responsibility. Comparable work experience may be substituted for the associate degree requirements. In depth knowledge of computer information systems/security/networking/switching/backups. # May be required to attain additional education and training to meet the changing demands of the department. Preferred:#IT experience in healthcare or hospital setting. #
