The role:
Manage financial tasks including bank statement reconciliations, adjusting entries, and analyses. Requires strong analytical and accounting skills, proficiency in Microsoft products, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. What you’ll need:
+ Strong analytical and accounting skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, along with being self-motivated, ability to work independently, multi-tasking, and a high attention to detail.
+ Strong computer skills and solid experience in standard Microsoft products are essential, especially with Excel.
+ Associate degree in Accounting, or 3+ years of experience.
+ Demonstrable experience within an organization during its start-up and growth phases, executing through teamwork and collaboration.
+ Strengths include problem-solving, issue-resolution, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
+ Outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with all levels within the organization in a collaborative manner.
+ Must be able to establish peer relationships and communicate effectively within cross-functional and external teams as well
+ Strong analytical skills to solve business problems through data analysis. Work with the client and internal Galileo resources to identify issues and opportunities to improve client experience and performance.
+ Advanced Microsoft Office skills including SQL and other accounting tools.
+ Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Good customer service skills and organizational skills. Ability to lead and influence teams both internally and externally.
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Familiar with communicating with C-level positions.
What you’ll do:
+ Proven ability to Own and lead all aspects of assigned clients/banks by developing strategic knowledge about our reconciliation process and our reconciliation tools.
+ Establish effective Client relationships with C-Level, cross functional, management and service delivery client resources.
+ Develop and implement plans to allow clients to maximize the value of Galileo services. Become very knowledgeable of client business models and plans.
+ Independently lead resolution of client/bank projects and issues.
+ Proven ability to Effectively manage projects/cases prioritization, communication and resolution.
+ Coordinate internally across Galileo with cross-functional teams such as Technical Project Management, Client Technical Support, Finance and Program Management to ensure the relationship and projects stay on track.
+ Perform Bank statement reconciliations.
+ Research outstanding entries to ensure items are cleared in a timely manner.
+ Prepare appropriate adjusting entries.
+ Perform scheduled and ad-hoc analysis.
+ Maintain appropriate files, reports, documentation, and data.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

US-Based Base Compensation
$76,800 — $135,000 USD
