Description
Bethel Farms is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Analytics and Reporting team in Arcadia, Florida. This is an hybrid position, 3 days in the Arcadia office and 2 days remote.
The Business Analyst position is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level to early-career professional eager to develop their analytics skills while gaining valuable experience interacting with senior leadership.
In this role, you will support the Director of Analytics and Forecasting by managing and enhancing data analysis, reporting, and insights across the business. You will create dashboards, generate reports, and perform deep-dive analyses to help guide strategic decisions. This role provides direct exposure to senior leadership, requiring excellent analytical and communication skills. You will collaborate with various teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI, Power Pivot, and Excel.
• Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple databases.
• Present insights and reports to senior leadership with clear and compelling narratives.
• Create executive-level PowerPoint presentations to share key findings and recommendations.
• Perform ad-hoc data analyses to support business initiatives and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness by validating sources and conducting quality checks.
• Develop automated workflows for recurring reports and streamline reporting processes.
• Utilize statistical programming languages (R or Python) for advanced analysis and modeling (preferred).
• Support performance tracking initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
Required Skills and Abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, and macros).
• Strong experience with Power BI (creating dashboards, measures, and visualizations).
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data.
• Experience with PowerPoint and creating executive-level presentations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior leadership.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Power Pivot and statistical programming languages (R or Python) is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of how data drives business decisions.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
• Previous experience presenting insights to leadership teams is a plus.
• Experience in a retail, supply chain, or consumer goods industry is a bonus.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with statistical analysis, data modeling, and forecasting techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
• Experience in creating automated reporting processes.
• Knowledge of Azure, SharePoint, or other data storage and integration tools.
• Certification in Power BI or SQL is a plus.
