POSITION
In this role, the Designer helps translate conceptual designs and ideas by using AutoCAD Plant3D software to create technical drawings for industrial projects within the company. These responsibilities include:
+ Uses Plant3D to model industrial processes, including piping, valves, pumps, tanks, and other appurtenances related to the process.
+ Creating detailed technical drawings based on sketches, specifications, and other input provided by engineers and/or clients.
+ Translating concepts and ideas into precise, accurate drawings and models using Plant3D software
+ Prepare Plant3D drawings for review, bidding, and construction purposes.
+ Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design requirements and specifications are met and communicated effectively.
+ Gathering, interpreting, and incorporating design development comments from project engineers via redlines.
+ Review drawings and models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry and company standards and project requirements.

YOUR STRENGTHS
+ 5+ years of oil and gas CAD design experience within Plant3D required
+ Associate or Technical degree in Drafting or CAD Technology preferred
+ Strong technical design skills
+ Knowledge of design principles and standards
+ Understanding of survey data post-processing into surfaces or TINs
+ Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
