Butler Machinery is looking for a talented Rental Fleet Equipment Lifecycle Manager to join our team. This position is a critical component of our Rental Team, responsible for the lifecycle decisions of the entire fleet. We have a generous pension plan with 10% guaranteed and up to 5% discretionary provided by the company annually once eligibility is met, with no minimum required contributions out of your pocket.

Responsibilities:

+ Leads and supports the development and execution of Butler Machinery’s Rental Fleet Lifecycle management by exemplifying the Mission and Values of Butler Machinery.

+ Continuously reviews, enhances, communicates, and executes BMC’s machine lifecycle management practices, maximizing rental fleet return on investment via lowest cost per hour of utilization for rental assets.

+ Coordinates machine end of rental fleet life decisions with the rental management team.

+ Oversees entire rental fleet machine health, repair timeliness, and machine return to ready process, execution, and strategy.

+ Maintains a liaison role with equipment fleet manufacturers technical representatives.

+ Leads a team of maintenance and repairs specialists who monitor and direct repair decisions for all Rental Fleet assets. Including, but not limited to, damage reports, Post rental and PM checklines, service intervals, oil samples, and telematics data.

+ Develops maintenance and repair team through ongoing mentoring and coaching.

+ Maximizes rental customer loyalty by ensuring machine uptime via proper maintenance practices.

+ Maintains a proactive liaison role with entire BMC service management team to ensure continues, exemplary execution of repair processes, decisions, and internal and external costing.

+ Works with the Service, Sales and parts departments on issues with rental equipment.

+ Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of business experience, training and/or education required.
