What you will do:
As our Lead Business Data Governance Analyst – Data Quality, you will play a pivotal role in advancing data quality governance and management across the organization. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business data quality governance program, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of critical enterprise data. Working closely with domain stakeholders, you will identify and resolve data quality issues, define quality metrics, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data integrity in support of strategic business objectives. You may also contribute to master data management (MDM) efforts, maintaining high data quality standards across key domains.
You will ensure that data quality governance opportunities are proactively identified and embedded throughout the project management lifecycle. You will promote a culture where data quality is recognized as a core business capability, integrating best practices across processes, data, and technology. You will align data quality frameworks and methodologies to safeguard and maximize the value of the organization’s data assets and as a subject matter expert in data quality, you will lead and support enterprise-wide initiatives, partnering with data management, business, and IT teams to ensure consistent implementation and adherence to data quality standards.
_This is a hybrid role and as such we define hybrid as the ability to go into the office at least 2 -3 days per week._
+ Create data quality checks and actively monitor data quality
+ Represents Business Data Governance (BDG) team across complex, multi-departmental projects.
+ Participates in or leads data activities in support of strategic initiatives and projects.
+ Provides formal training within or outside of team to increase data literacy.
+ Apply cross-functional business knowledge to analyze and solve multi-dimensional data challenges.
+ Presents findings and solutions to executive level and creates correct messaging for intended audience
+ Coordinates and facilitates the creation of data definitions, policies, standards, and processes, working with data stewardship/management teams.
+ Performs impact analysis and coordinates the execution of change processes.
+ Creates data governance and quality metrics and dashboard.
+ Support governance principles, policies, and stewardship within the project lifecycle and IT SDLC.
+ Analyzes and identifies data sources, data redundancy and implements processes to remediate data issues and/or data clean-up efforts.
+ Identifies data quality opportunities and drives adherence with data governance and quality initiatives.
+ Participate in and review system enhancement and new technologies for data needs, use, and redundancies.
What you need:
Required-
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business or IS/IT required.
+ Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, or Corporate business function required.
+ 1+ YOE of SAP S/4 Hana and supporting modules, as well as diverse knowledge with regards to multiple ERP platforms (e.g. Oracle, JDE) a plus.
+ 2+ YOE using SQL is required, with the ability to write complex queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
+ 1+ YOE with additional programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus to support automation and advanced analytics initiatives.
Preferred:
+ 1+ years of experience building reports and dashboards with Power BI
