    Lead Concrete Operations as a Plant Supervisor at Sunroc!

     

    Sunroc is looking for a Concrete Plant Supervisor to manage production, train personnel, and ensure the quality of all concrete mixes delivered. You'll oversee team development, troubleshoot production issues, and support customer service through job-site visits.     Things You’ll Do

     

    + Manage and provide training for batch plant personnel, drivers, and customers.

    + Oversee the production and verify the quality of all mixes being delivered.

    + Monitor employee training and certification.

    + Maintain team recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action.

    + Assist in customer service through job-site visits and involvement in pre-construction meetings.

    + Coordinate trouble shooting of concrete problems related to production and delivery.

    + Advise area manager when employee and customer situations are beyond scope of authority.

    + Maintain active involvement with industry related associations.

    + Prepare and submit reports as required.

    + Maintain insurable driving record.

    + Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.

    Requirements

    + Strong leadership, problem solving, and technical skills.

    + Ability to review and analyze financial and logistic information.

    + Strategic thinking skills.

    + Ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.

    + 2+ years in a leadership capacity.

    + 4+ years in concrete, logistics, and/or a construction capacity that deals heavily in concrete.

    + High School diploma preferred.
