    Position Summary

    RSI is recruiting for a Deputy Director ofProgram Management Officewho will assist the PMO Director in leading the enterprise-wide integration of all task orders (TOs) and ensure that project management tools are available to effectively plan, execute, monitor, and report on the Legacy Management support services (LMS) contract performance. Assist with the oversite of overall portfolio management, contract authority for subtask management, and is the delegate to the PMO Director in their absence.

    **FLSA:** Exempt

    **Hiring Range:** $165,000.00 – 185,000.00per year.(The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.)

     

    This position is required to travel 25% of the time.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    + Assist the PMO Director and TO managers in identifying resources and authorize resource pool.

    + Assists in creating an environment of organizational excellence within the PMO and Legacy Management Strategic Partnership (LMSP) by encouraging collaboration and integration across LMSP organizations.

    + Identifies and implements opportunities to simplify processes, procedures, and operations while ensuring safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.

    + Accountable for activities associated with the risk management and future operations (FUOPS) programs.

    + Assists with Project Control activities to prepare estimates of construction costs.

    + Assists the PMO Director with Earned Value Management (EVM) and programmatic oversite to ensure available funds and resources associated with the LMS program.

    + Support LMS personnel in activities that include, but not limited to program planning and analysis support, the EVM System, project controls and performance.

    + Assists with LMS Strategic Initiatives, LMS Prime Contractor Partner Interface, LMS Compliance, Reporting and Metrics, LMS Risk Management, LMS Project Controls and Estimating, and Major Projects teams.

    + Assists the PMO Director with prime contract interfaces.

    + Support LMSP program initiatives.

    + Ensure data quality in reporting and earned value management.

    + Coordinate TO management.

    + Assist with the management of the PMO office, identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies, and development of procedures, guidelines, and templates for LMS organizational wide use.

    + As necessary, willingly provides opinions and options counter to those planned and/or expressed by the PMO Director.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Science, or related field. Experience in lieu of education may be considered.

    + 15 years of relevant experience.

    Licenses and Certifications

    + Valid Driver’s License.

    + No professional certification required.

    + Project Management Professional certification preferred.

    Required Skills and Abilities

    + Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical and team building skills.

    + Expert knowledge and ability to develop and apply highly advanced principles, concepts, and techniques in business aspects of government contracts and projects.

    + Skill and ability to perform critical strategic tasks and to interpret broad strategic requirements and develop and execute plans to satisfy them.

    + Ability to have major impact on organizational success and productivity, with extensive latitude for independent judgment.

    + Ability to develop and lead large projects, including defining scope, objectives, and methods.

    + Outstanding leadership, interpersonal relationship building, and employee coaching and development skills.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

    Essential Physical Requirements

     

    Sedentary: Work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs may be defined as sedentary when walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
