Your Role at KIK
At KIK the **Parts Clerk - 1st Shift will work Monday – Friday with occasional overtime as required (8:00 am - 4:30 pm)** . The Parts Clerk (or Parts Coordinator) plays a critical role in supporting the operational efficiency of our maintenance and production teams. This position is responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, and organization of maintenance parts and supplies, while also serving as the CMMS owner and point of contact for outside contractors. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. **This position has an hourly rate starting at $24.00 as well as eligibility for a quarterly operational incentive bonus** .
What You’ll Be Doing:
+ Identify and label all process/plant equipment.
+ Owner of the plant CMMS (computerized maintenance management software).
+ Enter existing PMs where available; lead the development of new PMs working closely with maintenance technicians and equipment suppliers.
+ Develop and collaborate with both the Filling and BM departments referencing the manufacturer recommendations on the PM frequency.
+ Develop and implement a work order process. Conduct training with production supervisors and hourly lead hands. Document all procedures.
+ Responsible for purchasing all parts for the maintenance department
+ Catalog, and organize all maintenance spare parts, implementing sign-out procedures and setting min/ max stock replenishment levels.
+ Point of contact for all outside contractors.
+ Ability to make suggestions and informed decisions quickly
What You’ll Bring:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 2 or more years experience in manufacturing or related field
+ Prior CMMS experience (Required)
+ Demonstrated Organization skills with Inventory or Parts Coordination experience
+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
+ Above average computer skills, especially in Excel
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
+ Strong communication skills at all levels
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and reach for extended periods in an industrial setting.
+ Occasionally required to lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
+ Regularly required to use hands and arms to handle parts, tools, equipment, or documentation.
+ Must be able to ascend and descend stairs and ladders to access elevated platforms or equipment areas.
+ You may be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch to access storage bins, shelving, or tight spaces.
+ Ability to work in hot, humid, or cold conditions and near chemical processing equipment.
+ Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, hearing protection, and respiratory protection, as required.
+ Must have the ability to inspect parts and read digital screens and printed labels visually.
+ Ability to hear alarms, radio communication, and verbal instructions in a loud industrial environment.
