1. Occupational Summary (Position Objective & Authorities)
Objective:
Responsible for managing and directing specifically assigned groups of the Aftermarket Program Management function within Safran Seats USA Services. The program function includes the following: Program & warranty Management, Customer Support Management, Contract Management, Costing and Business Plan construction, Engineering Change Request management.
Manage consistent, timely and precise communications to the customers (both internal and external) on issues concerning all in service fleets and contracted customer programs. This role works independently.
2. Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
Main Function Responsibilities-
A) Directs the activities for the assigned Group (Operational or Customer Management), while ensuring departmental budgets are adhered too. This may, at times, include performing the functions of a Program Manager.
B) Manage Program Managers to ensure customer satisfaction, adherence to program tollgate dates, and balanced workloads.
C) Develop and maintain relationships with the assigned customers.
D) Work closely with sales, engineering, supply chain, front office and other departments as necessary to ensure the delivered product fulfills the contracted and customer accepted definition while working to eliminate or adjust process issues that prevent successful delivery of customer program commitments.

3. Qualification Requirements:
A. Education & Qualification-
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related business management or related engineering discipline or 6 years related experience in lieu of Bachelor's level degree to meet the education requirement. OR Requires an Associate's degree in a related business management or related engineering discipline and 3 years related experience in lieu of Bachelors level degree to meet the education requirement.
B. Work Experience - Technical knowledge-
• In addition to meeting the education requirement, requires an additional 8 years' experience in a project or program team environment/exposure with 5 of those years managing programs.
• 2 years of employee supervision experience required.
C. Professional Skills-
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of program management with internal and external relationships management.
• Have strong negotiating skills and be comfortable in an adversarial business environment during negotiations.
• Have a very good working knowledge of the standard suite of office software products (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, et. al.)
• Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
• Ability to read and review written communication.
• Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
D. Behavioral Skills-
• Demonstrated effective and motivational leadership skills.
4. Travel-
International and/or Domestic travel required; up to 15%.
