Responsibilities for a Workers' Compensation Claims Supervisor include but are not limited to:
+ Analyze and process **complex or technically difficult workers' compensation claims** to determine benefits due and provide guidance to examiners.
+ Manage claims through well-developed action plans to an appropriate and timely resolution, ensuring ongoing adjudication within service expectations and client requirements.
+ Approve and negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority, including calculating and assigning timely and appropriate reserves.
+ Manage the litigation process and coordinate vendor referrals for additional investigation or litigation management.
Candidates for Workers' Compensation Claims Supervisor must meet the following requirements to be considered:
+ **Five (5) years of claims management experience** in **California Workers' Compensation** , or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Must have **SIP Certification** .
+ Subject matter expert in appropriate insurance principles and laws for the line-of-business, including recoveries, offsets, deductions, and cost containment principles.
+ Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, analytical, and negotiation skills.

+ **Shift:** Hybrid (2 days in office per week, 8 AM - 4:30 PM), with the first 3 days in office for training.

**Pay Details:** $40.00 per hour
