VCA County West Animal Hospital** is looking to add a Certified Veterinary Technician to our leadership team as a **Technician Supervisor.

**Schedule:** Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10 hour shifts with rotating Saturdays.

**Compensation** : $23 - 26/hr, and pay range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.

In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to:

+ Implementing department policies and procedures.

+ Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings.

+ Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs.

+ Interviewing, training and mentoring new and existing staff.

+ Delivering employee performance feedback.

+ Monitoring day-to-day activities and engaging with support staff.

Qualifications:

+ Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or eligible to transfer state license (LVT, RVT, LVMT).
