Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Planner

Type: Contract

Compensation: $53.00 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

System One is currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Planner on an 8 month contract position located in Bucks, AL.

Mechanical Maintenance Planner Responsibilities:

+ Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules for all mechanical equipment and systems at the Plant.

+ Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to prioritize and plan maintenance activities.

+ Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

+ Identify and procure necessary materials, tools, and equipment for maintenance tasks.

+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.

+ Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend proactive maintenance strategies.

+ Collaborate with the reliability team to implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs.

+ Assist in the development and management of the maintenance budget, including cost tracking and reporting.

+ Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians and other plant personnel.

+ Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes for equipment failures and downtime incidents.

+ Continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Mechanical Maintenance Planner Requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance planning, preferably in a power plant or industrial setting.

+ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, turbines, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.

+ Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other maintenance planning software.

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

+ Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in mechanical maintenance.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.

+ Certification in maintenance planning and scheduling (e.g., SMRP, CMRP) is a plus.
