    Trade Business Analyst

    Job Description

    The Trade Business Analyst conducts basic operational analyses that support informed decision-making within the business unit. Under the guidance of a Senior Business Analyst or immediate supervisor, the analyst engages in small to medium-sized special projects, quantitative and qualitative research, process design and modification, and report development. The role applies standardized tools and techniques to enhance business operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Enter trades into the SOX Application and execute end-of-day recaps and reports.

    + Verify positions and monitor daily Value at Risk and other risk-related measures.

    + Reconcile the broker and other external statements associated with transactions.

    + Provide management with daily Profit and Loss and pricing information.

    + Handle Electronic Funds Sources and other clearing transactions.

    + Support the development and execution of the trade capture platform in collaboration with the IT Team.

    + Develop ad-hoc reports using SQL and Power BI.

    + Automate Excel-based ad-hoc reports using macros.

    Essential Skills

    + 3 years of experience in a related role.

    + Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Python.

    + Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Math, or a related field.

    + Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and collaborative.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with commodities trading and derivatives.

    + Knowledge of SOX compliance, research, and analysis.

    + Understanding of physical trading, financial reporting, and transaction documentation.

    + Competency in transaction monitoring and risk assessment.

    Work Environment

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
