• About the Role

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving growth and building strong vendor relationships? We’re looking for a Category Managerto lead our purchasing and merchandising efforts across multiple sales channels. In this high-impact role, you’ll shape product strategy, optimize category performance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience to a diverse and growing customer base.

• What You’ll Do

+ Drive Growth:Expand our portfolio by onboarding high-value vendors and uncovering new product and customer opportunities.

+ Strategic Sourcing:Identify and prioritize ‘partner-level’ vendors to align with long-term business goals.

+ Optimize Product Mix:Balance innovation and profitability by curating the right products for the right customers.

+ Own the Numbers:Analyze cost drivers (COGS, freight, tariffs, etc.) and manage margins to maximize gross profit.

+ Be the Expert:Become the go-to authority on your category and its vendors—internally and externally.

+ Collaborate Cross-Functionally:Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to tailor solutions that enhance value and service.

+ Champion the Customer:Ensure top-tier support from purchase to post-sale, including education, warranty, and service.

+ Build Relationships:Cultivate strong, trust-based partnerships with key suppliers to become their preferred dealer.

+ Experience:3+ years in category management, procurement, or strategic sourcing.

+ Skills:

+ Buying & merchandising

+ Negotiation & vendor management

+ Supply chain & logistics

+ SAP & purchase order systems

+ Financial acumen and margin management

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $57.69/hr.
